I came home last night around 11:30 to Brenna (Roommate) putting a small brown paper bag with a ribbon around it in the fridge. The cute little tag said my name on it.
My roommates are adorable.
The other card, tied on my door, told me to look in the fridge.
Went upstairs and got a facebook message from another roommate of the brothel (where I live J), Scott who lleft about a week ago to recover/quarantine himself from the flu.
"i'm coming back tomorrow and COUGHING IN YOUR WIIIINNNEEEE!!!
HAPPY EARLY BDAY!!! "
The wine is in reference to tonight’s festivities., see below
This morning I woke up to a happy birthday from Andrew before he went to class. A text from Tiffany saying happy birthday as well.. and the beginnings of facebook notifying me of many many wall posts.
I got dressed cute. Eyes pretty with my new sephora makeup. Cute scarf left by becka I would never buy on my own. Black fitted shirt, jeans.
I went downstairs, opened the bag in the fridge from brenna found cheesecake and a super nice note. It may be cheap cheesecake from walmart… but it was so sweet. I barely know her and she did something nice and put effort into a cute little package for me to make me smile on my birthday.
I think her love languages are words and gifts.
A few weeks ago I found not only a desk by dumpster diving (note: it was a large apartment complex dumpster and all the stuff I took was in the parking lot next to the dumpster.)
I got a lot of clothes, washed it,
Today I took it to plato’s closet. Instead of taking the almost $40.. I got a BEBE dress, nice shirt, and pair of boots. And a dollar back!
I also went to Arizona trading, they only took the white castle shirt. $3 store credit spent toward a dress for Emily Pounds, to be reimbursed by Bob.
I also went to get my resume reviewed by the business career centers which brought in employers. I talked to Joe from McKesson and he helped out a lot. I have a list of things to fix on my resume and a few things to fix in my life so I can be better off at getting a job after I do that graduating thing.
I am in class. Then going to Jdel to pick up stuff with Andrew (because he’s going to work there!) and to hopefully ask a question about doing more sales or marketing… then… wine!
The monthly wine tasting at the i-bar on mass street just happens to fall on my birthday! The I stands for Ingredient, a restaurant it’s connected to.
My mom, sister, boyfriend, bop it, ben&sofie and a few other people I like a whole lot are coming. And there will be pie. Seriously, awesome.

My own personal dictionary. (in progress)
Phrases I sometimes forget but always want to remember...
5555+++ lol
(apparently you say the word 5 like ha in thai)
Bitches what my own personal 'catchphrase'
because you can add many different forms of punctuation or tones of voice to it (including interrobangs) and it's meaning can be completely changed. and because it sounds cool
ΒΩΡ ΙΤ Beta Omega Rho, Iota Tau chapter.
we wanted a name to describe our close group of friends. We had an inside joke and we wanted it to be in greek letters. more entries about bop it
Crisco Box v. The act of driving around aimlessly and feeling totally comfortable talking about anything and everything. essential.
Kris Kobach is a local politician Angi doesn't like. One night we were driving around aimlessly (in high school when gas was still cheap and something we didn't pay for and she didn't have a car and blackdog coffeehouse closed an hour before my curfew) and we were talking about something and she interrupted and said 'I really want to burn than Kris Kobach sign' I didn't process it very quickly and knew she would get a kick out of what I thought she said - that she wanted to burn a crisco box. which made no sense.
Dictionair n. when the words you are writing don't quite fit on the page, a way to make angela to pretend she is mad at you.
Etlse how I say else, according to Rachel
Madagascar a key word said to let the other people in the group know that you feel left out.
Me and welly were helping barf learn her african countries we came up with that madagascar (the island off off the coast of Africa) was mad because it felt left out. So after we moved seats (2 of us always seemed to be next to each other and the other within whispering distance) when the group of 2 started laughing the third would whisper shout: madagascar! and the others would feel her in.

My final 25.
1.I love stories, which has made me love and hate these 25 facts things. no one can be summed up in 25 facts, but I like getting snippets of other people's lives - I hope you enjoy my snippets :)
2.My memory is pretty horrid. So I love hearing stories even if I was there. I like remembering the happy . And I apologize ahead of time if I start telling you a story and you were there for it. oops.
3. I deleted and re-wrote a lot of this because I know some people who will judge me for the things I wanted to write. If you don't like me in the first place, don't read this.
4. As a photographer I like to put people in their best light. Until you do something to prove me otherwise - my first impression of people is usually a positive one. But I usually think people's first impressions of me are negative.
5. My dating experiences are usually pretty traumatic, especially the blind dates.( senor navel, wrinkles, fingers in my ear, general awkwardness) But I think I'm getting better at flirting and at picking the ones who don't suck at life because my last dance I went to was quite enjoyable. (the bad date/suck at life thing is not directed at JD or JW! just for clarification.)
6.I've never been kissed for explanation-see number 5.
7. My all time favorite song is "Wild one" by Faith hill.
8. I believe in angels. I believe that certain people come into your lives right when you need them. And sometimes they leave before you'd like them too - but they helped you become a part of who you are. Thank you.
9. I call the remote control a 'changer'.
10. I'm Catholic My early Church/CCD memories I have are just me being goofy and probably annoying people - but still feeling like it was okay that I was being that way. I appreciate and value Oasis, good shepherd, and most of the people that came with it (all except MM, resident suckubus, actually) and attribute a lot of who I am to being a part of that community. Thanks for accepting me. Every hyper, photo crazy part of me :)
11. I'm very proud of my family and think they are all great and interesting people. I have one living grandparent, my mom's dad (G-caw) The street Albervan is named after him (Albert Vanlerberg - he thought naming a street after him was stupid.) I'm one of his 22 grandchildren. (me and most my cousins pictured above. Kristen, Patty, and Alex aren't in the photo :( )
12. I have 2 older sisters - becka and april. I appreciate them both for very very different reasons.
13. my parents are divorced and my mom has a boyfriend, Bob, Apparently Bob and I have the exact same sense of humor.
14. I love the lake of the ozarks and that going there means I get to see family, be warm, and sit on aunt Julie's porch. To me, the lake was where I first felt like an adult in my family. I needed that summer of transition.
baby king snake, one of our many strange pets!
15. I like weird pets. not the normal kinds. I'm allergic to cats and usually don't like dogs, except clean puppies - but I've had horses, snakes, birds, frogs, a pig, turtles, chickens, a canadian goosenamed jordan and a few other more normal ones... Oh and there was the buzzard too.. and the cows - but those werent technically ours..
16. I actually live in 910. with my bop it girls.
17. I'm a proud nerdfighter, go ahead - ask me about it. I won't stop talking - EVER. :) or just watch some of the links. hillarious.
18. I like free things. Like the Cds I took from the journalism room(they get sent CDs to review) my favorite I took was The Feeling I'd never heard of them before --- I also take books from the recycling dumpster behind a used book store in OP, sign up for free stuff online, and never pass up free things - even if they are useless.
19.I have a sword, a black belt, nunchucks, and a teddy bear named curly. why yes, I am badass.
20. I had a lot of ear infections as a kid, and as a result don't hear perfectly. But my eyes are 20/20, my teeth are mostly straight without ever having braces, and my skin is almost always clear.
21. I'm an Orange Blue . My love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation. I'm a hugger.
22. The best trips I ever took were both in 2004. NCYC in TX and Spain.
23. I really like pizza sandwiches.(if you've never had a pizza sandwich, this should be fixed.)
24. My favorite flowers are probably spray roses, the dandelions that you can blow on, or those other weed flowers that you can make into necklaces and crowns.
25.I spend a lot of time online- because I'm bad at time management. It's easier to just do this than attempt to be productive when I know I will have enough time to finish everything. I like being busy. So give me a call, let's hang out. I have far too much free time.

emo
I'm so emotional right now.. maybe its the sad cheesy lifetime movie i watched earlier or the fact that all my roomies and bop it girls went home for break and im very very alone. maybe its because I don't want to try to get a boy because I'm too afraid of not getting one... btu that i want someone to know me this well
eulogy of sorts
this is a girl writing about a boy who she loved who loved God. This boy's body hasn't been found since his car slid on ice and into traffic. the headlights went out so no one could see the car. they got out and ran for the side of the bridge, there was no shoulder so he jumped. he landed in freezing water. The others jumped and held on or got off the bridge or something.. and he didn't. his name was John Paul Foget.
He went to my friends small catholic college. 2000 people.. so i'm sure she knew him or of him.
I didn't cry until I read part of that note
'he watched vlogbrothers with me'
he was a nerdfighter. we lost a nerdfighter.
If I died tomorrow I would be like Margo, most people have a fake view of who I am. No one knows me. and that scares me. I don't want to be remembered as perfect. I don't want to be remembered as enduringly happy.
I'm just scared that no one knows me.

sadness
So sometimes I'm sad, really intensely sad. And everything around me just makes me sadder and sadder.
Right now, I'm in an upward mode though, everything seems to be getting better, even though not much has changed.
My real GDP of happiness is rising
I am SUCH a nerd. and I love it.
And I love being confident when confident matters.
and I love laughing. I love making people laugh, even if it's just about stupid free sample diapers.
It's hard to imagine complex people when they see you but don't let you see them.
I'm trying to be happy, I'm trying to consider the good. like warm heated blankets and friends who aren't perfect but sure as hell try to be there for me, even when I don't realize it. and reading books helps me feel better, even when dentists just stabbed me with numbing needles, reading let it snow helped to not concentrate on the fact that I was drooling. awesome.
Good mood right now. I like being smart, and me and and happy and all that jazz.
This is sad.

but I loved seeing my family, I love the after--burial lunch. I loved the buttons we made that said 'uncle dale's favorite' and Uncle Ron's letter from '98 that was signed that said he was actually the favorite.
and I love my family. because sometimes I forget just how special and amazing they are.

Hutch Trip '08! and bop it explained!
So I hang out with 4 other girls a lot
Let's call them Rachel, Chris, Diana, and Katie (because that's their names!)
We're all in the same sorority and live in apartments. R, C, and I lived together and K and D lived together a floor down from us
We used to have Grey's parties every week and we would sometimes have dinner and such.
So to have someone to write in the 'host' box on facebook when we had 'events' We needed to come up with a name, thus BOP IT was born!
We are Beta Omega Rho, Iota Tau chapter!

R lives the furthest away, so we all took a summer weekend trip to tour Hutch!
We also have a few 'pending' members which just means they don't hang out with us enough, but we want them to!!
Q - was there for the bop it fiasco and most of the grey's parties +++
